Production Manager – Sadaat City

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop production plans and schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and customer demand.
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and other departments to ensure timely availability of raw materials and resources.
  • Continuously review and improve manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize production costs.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles, automation technologies, and best practices to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Establish and enforce quality control standards and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and tests of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to maintain quality standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods to prevent stockouts or overages.
  • Implement inventory control measures, such as FIFO (first in, first out), to minimize waste and inventory holding costs.
  • Enforce workplace safety regulations, hygiene standards, and food safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, USDA).
  • Conduct safety training sessions, inspections, and audits to identify hazards and mitigate risks.
  • Supervise and mentor production staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee maintenance activities for production equipment, ensuring regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules, spare parts inventory management, and equipment reliability strategies.
  • Generate production reports, performance metrics, and KPIs to track production efficiency, yield, and quality metrics.

8-10 years of experience in food manufacturing (potation, frozen fruits & vegetables is a MUST) , with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or management role.Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.Strong knowledge of food processing techniques, equipment, and sanitation standards.Familiarity with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP, SQF) and quality management systems.Leadership skills, including team building, coaching, conflict resolution, and decision-making.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.Proficiency in production planning software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
