Job Description

The PR Executive at Jahez is responsible for enhancing the brand image, fostering media and community relations, and driving impactful communication strategies. This role involves working closely with PR agencies, executing innovative brand activation initiatives, and building strong connections with key stakeholders. As part of the marketing team, the PR Executive collaborates with campaign managers and the content team to support tactical and brand campaigns with effective PR efforts.


Role & Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Execution:

● Develop and implement PR campaigns to enhance Jahez App’s brand reputation and visibility.

● Craft messaging aligned with the company’s goals and target audience.

● Monitor and report on campaign effectiveness, adjusting strategies as needed


Campaign Support:

● Collaborate with the marketing team, supporting campaign managers and the content team to align PR activities with tactical and brand campaigns.

● Ensure PR initiatives enhance the visibility and impact of ongoing campaigns.

● Provide strategic insights to integrate PR into broader marketing efforts.


Brand Activation and Event Management:

● Plan, execute, and manage creative brand activation strategies and events to increase user engagement and loyalty.

● Collaborate with PR agencies, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment on messaging and execution.

● Oversee event planning, execution, and post-event analysis to maximize impact and meet objectives.

● Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and reflect Jahez App’s brand identity.


Community Management  

● Develop programs and initiatives that strengthen Jahez App’s presence and reputation within target communities.

● Engage directly with users through events, partnerships, and social media to create a sense of community around the brand.

● Organize and manage community events, and promotional activities to enhance the brand's presence.


Media Relations and Agency Collaboration:

● Work closely with PR agencies to ensure alignment on messaging and execution of campaigns.

● Support marketing and PR initiatives by developing content that ensures consistent exposure and impact.

● Collaborate with internal teams to align content with the company’s overall goals and strategies.

● Build and maintain strong relationships with influencers, and media outlets.


Monitoring and Reporting:

● Track and analyze PR performance metrics.

● Prepare reports and presentations for management on campaign outcomes, media coverage, and community engagement.


Qualifications  

● Minimum of 4 years in public relations, brand activation, and community building, preferably in the tech or app-based industry.

● Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

● Proven ability to manage media relations, community engagement, and brand activation campaigns.

● Excellent writing and content creation skills with attention to detail.

● Creative thinker with experience in executing innovative PR and brand-building strategies.

● Proficiency in using PR tools, analytics software, and social media platforms.

● Passion for community engagement and creating lasting brand impact.

● Results-driven with strong problem-solving skills.

● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
