Job Purpose:
To develop and manage the Aircraft Maintenance Environment Training (AMET) and Work Experience programs, ensuring compliance with MOE, MTOE, company policies, and Part 145 regulations.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and implement the AMET/WE program for all academy students, ensuring practical training meets established objectives.
- Assess candidates’ performance and provide high-quality feedback according to Joramco policies and standards.
- Develop and amend training checklists and flow plans for candidates to enhance training effectiveness.
- Conduct orientation for new joiners and follow up regularly to verify proficiency and address any questions.
- Maintain organized records of training conducted at Joramco, including student logbooks and attendance.
- Coordinate training schedules and act as the main point of contact for trainees, resolving issues and facilitating communication.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:
- Degree in aeronautical, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Accredited certificates such as licensed B1 or B2 engineer.
- 7 years of experience in MRO or related aviation fields.
- Knowledge of Part 66 and Part 145 requirements.
- Human Factors knowledge equivalent to Part 145 Maintenance Human Factors Initial training.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Very good command of the English language.
- Ability to conduct training effectively.
- Skill in prioritizing key issues and setting plans to achieve company goals.
- Flexibility to work varied hours.
