We are looking for a talented and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our Client in Kuwait, a food and beverage manufacturing company. This role is pivotal in ensuring procurement processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with strategic goals.

Role Overview:

The Purchasing Manager will oversee and optimize our stock inbound process, manage supplier relationships, and drive procurement strategies. You will be responsible for negotiating contracts, ensuring accurate and timely order placements, and collaborating with various departments to support our company’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the purchasing team in line with company strategy.
• Manage brand communications and act as the primary interface with brand principles.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms, prices, and discounts.
• Coordinate with suppliers to prepare and place purchase orders, and review and approve Purchase Vouchers.
• Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring alignment with sales and marketing goals.
• Ensure all shipments are processed with accurate labels, documents, and insurance.
• Research market trends, currency fluctuations, and competitor activities to negotiate effectively.
• Identify new business opportunities and coordinate with the sales team to integrate new products into our portfolio.
• Organize and participate in sales events, exhibitions, and trade shows.
• Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities and performance.
• Collaborate with finance, marketing, and sales departments to address brand-related matters.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in FMCG sector.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Experience with stock management, supplier relations, and contract negotiation.
• Proficiency in analyzing market trends and financial reports.
