Recreational Services Lead

The Recreational Services Lead is responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the learning resource center (LRC) operations, Morale Welfare & Recreation (MWR) center operations, theater operations, marketing, media center operations, and information ticket and tours (ITT). Services provided include resale operations, facility & equipment management and basic repair, special events, games, cultural tours and day trips, and other supporting activities as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Responsibilities

Major Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation and management, execution, and personnel supervision of all Recreational Service facilities and related activities as specified in the Performance Work Statement.
  • Responsible for communicating and upholding company standards, leading by example, working as a team and providing clean, friendly and well maintained recreation centers.
  • Shall plan and execute recreational activities.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and condition of the equipment in each facility.
  • Shall establish and maintain procedures for tracking and issuing CAC equipment to guests.
  • Shall establish and maintain appropriate inventory levels and complete weekly inventory of all equipment and supplies.
  • Shall follow all applicable Tri-Service Food Code, USDA, and local rules for food handling and service.
  • Shall answer customer feedback in various forms and address comments in a timely, professional manner.
  • Shall provide set up and breakdown of Government furnished equipment such as tables, chairs, music system, ice chests, stages, etc.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutter and trash in all working facilities and areas.
  • Responsible for maintaining a comprehensive, flexible, and properly documented training program.
  • Responsible for proper utilization and safeguarding of all government and contractor provided property (e.g., to include government facilities, equipment and tools).
  • Responsible for precise execution of company time reporting procedures and accurate completion of timesheet.
  • Shall perform as supplemental personnel as needed for all Installation Service functional areas.
  • Shall ensure oversight of LN workforce in accordance with 332 AEWI and AFCENTI 32-1002.
  • Shall perform escort duties.
  • Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with contractual, functional, and mission requirements.

Other Requirements

  • Work will be primarily indoors but may be outdoors to support various events.
  • Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, chemicals may occur.
  • Overtime and shift work may be required depending on contractual needs.
  • Employee must comply with all Federal, State and Local regulations and published Company work rules as well as written instructions.
  • Task specific work environment training will be provided as required.
  • Must be prepared to function in a wartime environment to support U. S. interests.
  • 100% Overseas Assignment.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Certifications : One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

  • Must have a High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current, valid U. S. Passport and U. S. Driver’s License.
  • Must be certified or shall be willing to receive certification to drive up to a 10K forklift.
  • Must be able to or shall be willing to learn to drive manual transmission vehicles.
  • Must have and maintain a valid U. S. SECRET Security Clearance prior to deployment.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
  • Must be able to pass MOD15 employment and deployment qualification requirements that include psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, background checks, etc.
  • Candidates must successfully complete hands on CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) defense training. Training includes the successful fit testing of DoD provided protective gear.

Experience

  • A minimum of four (4) years' of working in a recreational facility setting with supervisory experience.
  • Management experience to include: supervision of employees to include local nationals, completed required reports, and dealing professionally with the customer.
