Job Description Summary
The GE Vernova OFS Kuwait Learning Center Training Manager will lead the delivery of technical training for our internal teams (FEs, Craft, Repairs, OSS, O&M, PMO, & CPM/CSLs) and external customers. This role will partner with the various parts of the business (FC, Regions, OSS, Steam Power, Aero, Repairs, PMO, & O&M) to deliver with the right resourcing and content, while providing a safe and effective learning environment. This role will partner with the GE Vernova OFS Delivery & Logistics Manager and Project Managers on all appropriate training solutions.
Job Description
What you’ll do;
- Manage One Field Services Training team at the Kuwait Learning Center
- Manage and support regional instructors
- Execute & Deliver GE Vernova OFS training for GE in the MEA Region
- Manage training facility(s) in region and readiness to support training needs
- Lead programs and processes aligned with global business needs including identification, development, and delivery of training programs
- Work closely with the product line and business leaders to ensure training meets the needs of the customer
- Manage programs as assigned (technical, leadership, professional skills, commercial, customer, etc.)
- Efficiently manage cost and productivity for assigned programs
- Lead internal and external resources responsible for development of curricula, training delivery and organizational change
- Integrate training initiatives across the business
- Support financial reporting and systems (PowerMax, ERP, etc.)
- Lead the EHS for the GE Vernova OFS Training segment at the Kuwait Technology Center
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college or 10-year equivalent experience in Power Generation Industry
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing large, complex programs and budgets
- Ability to communicate orally and written in English
