Job Summary:
The Social Media Marketing Officer will work directly with the Head of Marketing in executing
and optimizing social media campaigns to enhance Sedalia’s online presence. This role involves
assisting in the creation, scheduling, and monitoring of social media content across various
platforms. We are looking for a candidate that is detail-oriented, creative, and enthusiastic about
social media and digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging and relevant content for social media platforms,
including text, images, and videos.
- Scheduling and Posting: Schedule and publish social media posts using social media
management tools (e.g. Later Social).
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and report on social media metrics, providing insights and
recommendations to improve performance.
- Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns and
promotions.
- Collaboration: Work with graphic designers, content creators, and other team members to
ensure cohesive and effective social media content.
Skills
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (i.e Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok,
LinkedIn).
- Fluent in English and Arabic (Kuwaiti dialect).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and strong awareness of online trends.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (i.e. Later Social).
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator) is a plus.
