SCIENCE TEACHER - AUGUST 2026 Physics or Chemistry up to Key Stage 4 (Year 10) This is one of Kuwait's longest-established and most respected British international schools. Candidate Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree same as teaching subject (UK-recognised) • Certificate of Education, Master’s of Education or Qualified Teacher Status • A minimum of five years relevant teaching experience • An excellent working knowledge of the UK National Curriculum • Knowledge of statutory curriculum, assessment, recording and reporting requirements • A proven track record of effective teaching • Knowledge of strategies for raising student attainment Personal Qualities • A strong academic background, stature and experience that will command the respect of pupils, parents, colleagues and the wider community • A commitment to academic progress and the welfare and safeguarding of students • An understanding of the demands of a UK independent school environment. • Knowledge and understanding of recent educational developments and best practice • Passion for education • Understanding of the needs, challenges and opportunities in the context of an international school community • Energy and a strong work ethic • Ability to collaborate and listen to others, sharing best practice to ensure excellent outcomes for all children The school offers a highly competitive, tax-free salary package.
