Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mill Operator to manage and operate vertical grinding mills used for crushing and blending industrial minerals such as Barite, Bentonite, Calcium, and Marble. The role requires hands-on experience in production operations, equipment monitoring, and maintaining consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor vertical grinding mills through SCADA/control panel systems
• Adjust operational parameters to ensure optimal production efficiency and quality
• Operate crushers and ensure production targets are achieved
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance of crushers and mill equipment
• Conduct daily maintenance of production units including hoppers, conveyors, and feeders
• Supervise accurate filling of hoppers with specified raw materials
• Manage transfer of raw materials to mills using conveyor belt systems
• Set up mills for different product specifications (Barite, Bentonite, Calcium, Marble – various grades)
• Ensure accurate bulk loading of finished products into trucks
• Report equipment malfunctions and operational issues promptly
• Maintain records of downtime, operational hours, and production output
• Submit daily production reports to the Mill Supervisor, including incidents and performance data
• Follow all safety (HSE) and operational procedures

Skills

Requirements

• Mechanical Diploma (preferred)
• 3–5 years of experience in mill operations, crushing, or similar industrial production roles
• Experience in oilfield chemicals / mineral processing is an advantage
• Experience in production plants, grinding mills, or oilfield material processing
• Familiarity with SCADA or automated control systems
• Basic English communication skills (reading & writing required)
• Ability to work in shift schedules (morning/evening)
