The HR Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department in a construction and building company. This position involves various administrative tasks, recruitment processes, and employee relations, ensuring that the HR functions operate smoothly and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  2. Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  3. Support the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training coordination.
  4. Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  5. Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and training programs.
  6. Prepare HR reports and presentations for management review.
  7. Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  8. Support payroll processing by collecting and verifying employee timesheets.
  9. Participate in performance management processes and assist in tracking employee performance metrics.
  10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure HR initiatives align with organizational goals.
