Team leader PPP - (Civil Engineer / Architect)

As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire project lifecycle of PPP development projects for our management consulting firm, ensuring all deliverables are met within specified timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You will provide guidance to the project team, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the project’s success. Your leadership skills will be key in driving the team toward achieving project goals, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the execution of PPP development projects, ensuring successful delivery in line with project goals, timelines, and budgets.

• Oversee all phases of project management, including planning, design, implementation, and completion.

• Coordinate with stakeholders, clients, contractors, and external partners to ensure alignment with project objectives.

• Manage project risks, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions when necessary.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

• Prepare and present progress reports, project updates, and technical documents to management and clients.

• Foster a positive, collaborative team environment, offering support and mentorship to junior team members.

• Maintain effective communication channels with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely updates and managing expectations.

• Work closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency in the project execution process.

Skills

Qualifications & Experience:

• A minimum of 10 years of project management experience for engineering consulting firm, with a primary focus on PPP development projects internationally and/or in the MENA Region.
• Civil Engineering or Architectural background, with relevant academic qualifications.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale development projects and delivering successful outcomes in the consultancy sector.
• Bilingual in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).
• Expertise in managing project budgets, timelines, and client expectations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and guide diverse teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients, teams, and stakeholders effectively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project challenges.
