We are seeking a Procurement Officer who will responsible for managing the purchasing and sourcing of goods and services required by the organization. The role involves negotiating with suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness, maintaining inventory levels, and adhering to company policies and regulations to meet organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Procurement:
- Identify reliable suppliers and vendors for goods and services.
- Obtain and evaluate quotes, bids, and proposals to ensure competitive pricing.
- Negotiate contracts and terms to secure favorable agreements.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to assess procurement needs.
- Ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
Supplier Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier performance regularly to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance.
- Resolve any supplier-related issues promptly.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, cost analyses, and savings.
Cost Management:
- Monitor and control procurement budgets.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all procured goods and services meet the required quality standards.
- Conduct inspections and liaise with relevant departments for quality control.
Vendor Selection and Evaluation:
- Perform market research to identify potential vendors.

- Facilitate the vendor onboarding process.
Risk Management:

Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of market research and sourcing techniques.
- Familiarity with local and international procurement regulations.
