• Maintain company Health and Safety system.
• Develop positive Health, Safety & Environment culture in his project/division.
• Promote awareness of injury prevention and damage control to all levels of employees
• Reduce project/division Health and Safety Accident Frequency Rate (AFR) record.
• To Maintain the company’s HSE policy with respect to ISO.
• Identify and appraise the potential safety, fire, health and environmental hazards in the site and recommend corrective/preventive measures.
• Administer in the implementation of HOTECC and clients Health, Safety and Environment Plan, rules and regulation, standards and procedures in the site.
• Conduct Health, Safety and Environment inspections/audits and accident investigation and  prepare and submit the report. Follow-up/verify the corrective actions completion within the assigned date.
• Recommend suspension to all Health, Safety and Environment regulation violators in the site.
• Stop the operation in cases where a) any danger of the employee, clients and its properties and or the HOTECC Company property. b) no approved clients work permits in the site.
• Conduct/facilitate the Health, Safety and Environment training, orientations and meetings.
• Prepare the safety satisfice dash boards and sign boards in proper location in site.
• Prepare Materials Requisition for personal protective equipment and first aid medicine and facilities and monitor the issuance.
• Develop activities that stimulate and maintain the interest of employees in working safely.
• Maintain a permanent record of all injuries and damages assess accident trends and review over all safety performance
• Perform other related Health, Safety and Environment jobs.
• Prepare and submit monthly Health, Safety and Environment Reports.
• Conduct daily electricity related to the tool box meeting before the stay of each shift.
• Prepare check list for the fire extinguishes, safety harness and others tools and tackles for lifting.
• Ensure the calibration of all equipment related to the safety such as fire monitor and gas tested.
• Ensure the competency certificate all the operators and riggers deployed in the site.
• Ventilated for the preparation of job safety analysis for the activities

Skills

• Degree or Diploma in Industrial Safety or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in similar role in following background: Construction/petrochemical/ heavy industry.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety management and administration.
• Conversant with all local and international regulations and best practice in the field of Health and Safety.
• Knowledge in OHSAS 18001 and/or ISO 9001 standard requirements and safety management systems in the construction industry.
• Driving Licence is mandatory.
