Provide centralized retail supply and maintenance support; performs aspects of supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, bar coding, property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Has a knowledge of supply operations and prAogram requirements and the ability to apply established supply policies, day-to-day servicing techniques, regulations, and procedures. Program: OMDAC-SWACA

Responsibilities
- Performs inventory management procedures, including ordering, receiving and storing supplies.
- Selects the correct stock for issue, creates and process material release orders, and keeps records on incoming and outgoing stock.
- Reconciles customer documentation with the PSRA and SSA on issues, receipts, storage of supplies and equipment, and financial discrepancies.
- Screens dues-out reconciliation listings & prepares cancellation/follow up documents.
- Establishes and maintains automated and manual accounting records, and corrects errors and exception documents.
- Provides status on supply requests, shipments and job-ordered items.
- Operates a Cannibalization Point in accordance with AR 710-2.
- Reconciles open requests, repairable exchange items and cannibalization items.
- Establishes and maintains stock records and other documents such as inventory, material control, accounting and supply reports.
- Assists in validating property book inventories for of equipment at the sites.
- Performs prescribed load list and shop stock list duties to assist the DSSTs.
- Compares packing lists, receipt documents, bills of lading, inspection reports, other documents, with purchase orders/requisitions to verify accuracy of stock data and quantities received against bills of lading, and shipping documents.
- Assures stock numbers/prices/sources of data are correct through use of Army Master Data File (AMDF), Supply Bulletins (SBs), supply letters, regulations, etc.
- Revises quantities ordered based on number of items on hand & reviews records for possible substitution of items.
- Unloads, unpacks, inspects, counts, segregates and stores incoming supplies.
- Prepare Forms 2404, 2407) to submit a work order to maintenance department.
- Repairs and constructs fiberboard or wooden containers. Constructs bins, shelving and other storage aids.
- Packs, crates, stencils, weighs and bands equipment and supplies.
- Loads, unloads and moves stock using equipment such as forklifts and hand trucks.
- Required to climb a ladder and stand for long periods of time.
- Working environment will be 50% indoors, 50% outdoors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Qualifications:
- Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if degree is required.
- High School Diploma required. Some college preferred.
- OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification
- Experience:
- Minimum three years’ experience in Unit Level Supply Management and Property Control.
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAMS, and ULLS-G.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for accountability of supplies and equipment at retail/wholesale level, warehousing and moving goods by air, rail, sea, or road.
