Position: Project Operations Manager

As a Project Operations Manager at ABYAT, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager - Operations to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a background in project management digitization, with experience in continuous improvement projects, factory manufacturing, warehousing, and technology applications. This role will involve organizing, reporting, and following up on the progress of multiple projects simultaneously, requiring excellent organizational and communication skills.


Responsibilities:


Project Management:

  • Lead and manage operational projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution, including production, engineering, and IT teams.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Manufacturing & Production Optimization:

  • Analyze existing manufacturing and production processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize production output.
  • Ensure the alignment of production processes with organizational goals, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.

Technology Integration & Digitization:

  • Lead digital transformation initiatives aimed at improving production workflows, leveraging technology to drive automation and data-driven decision-making.
  • Implement new technology solutions, including production software, ERP systems, and IoT devices, to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with IT and technical teams to ensure successful integration and implementation of digital tools.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive continuous improvement efforts across manufacturing and production processes by utilizing methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile.
  • Monitor project outcomes and post-implementation performance to ensure that improvements are sustained over time.
  • Identify opportunities for further innovation in processes and technologies.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Serve as a point of contact for all project-related communication, providing updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in production, engineering, IT, and supply chain departments.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within cross-functional teams.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Background in factory manufacturing, warehousing, and technology applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Ability to analyze processes, identify issues, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Adaptability to evolving technology and continuous learning.
