Scope And Purpose
The Women’s Assistant Coach supports the head coach in all aspects of the program, including training, game preparation, player development, and recruiting. This role helps ensure the success of student-athletes both on and off the field/court.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and leading practices and games.
- Provide individual skill development and tactical coaching.
- Support in game day preparations and assist during games.
- Mentor and guide athletes academically and personally.
- Help with recruiting and scouting efforts.
- Handle administrative tasks such as travel arrangements and compliance.
- Maintain open communication with players, staff, and university administration.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
- 2-3 years of coaching experience.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of the sport's rules and strategies.
- CPR/First Aid certification (required or willing to obtain).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours.
