Purpose and Scope:
The Site Manager is responsible for meeting Contractor’s work requirements, including scheduling of personnel, work supervision, and quality control for all tasks associated with this Task Order. The Site Manager shall have full authority to act for the Contractor on all task order matters relating to daily operation of this contract.
Essential Responsibilities:
Provides direction and leadership to assigned personnel. Manages and coordinates research and investigations into business problems. Provides guidance and assistance relative to operating problems and projects. Provides senior technical support to customers. Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- The SM shall be a USN and have a minimum of ten (10) years' experience related to the requirements outlined in this PWS.
- Possess excellent communication, analytical, project management and supervisory skills.
- Desktop computer skills are essential with proficiency in full range of Microsoft Office products and should be capable of preparing management level reports and presentations.
- Position requires frequent travel.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
- Possess a valid state issued driver’s license.
The Site Manager shall also serve as an engineer (licensed engineer is mandatory).
- The SM shall coordinate all work prioritization and investigation.
- The SM shall attend engineering, base logistics, deployment, exercise, safety, and force protection meetings as required.
- The SM shall have a minimum of four (4) years of design experience and four (4) additional years of experience in the engineering/construction management industry.
- Experience as an Engineering Mechanical, Civil or Electrical.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication and constant mental alertness. Must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines. Position requires routine travel to site operating locations.
