The Driver position at our supermarket in Kuwait is a vital role that ensures the timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting products from our warehouse to various locations while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a reliable individual who can manage their time effectively and maintain a positive attitude while interacting with customers and team members.

Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
2. Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
3. Load and unload products efficiently, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
4. Maintain accurate delivery records and logs, including mileage and fuel consumption.
5. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
6. Adhere to traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
7. Assist in inventory management by reporting any discrepancies or damages in delivered goods.
8. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
9. Participate in training sessions to improve driving skills and safety awareness.
10. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a delivery or logistics role.
2. Valid Kuwaiti driver's license with a clean driving record.
3. Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks as required.
6. Familiarity with local roads and traffic regulations.
7. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
