burgers and sides. As a pick-up and delivery-only restaurant, we are committed to

We are currently seeking a dedicated Head Cook / Kitchen Lead to join our team
and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our
kitchen.
Position Overview:
The Head Cook / Kitchen Lead will be responsible for managing all aspects of
kitchen operations, including preparing and cooking food, ensuring quality and
hygiene standards, and monitoring inventory and stock levels.
The ideal candidate
will be highly organized, efficient, and able to execute menu items consistently while adapting to a growing operation.
All purchasing of food, raw materials, packaging, and supplies will be handled by
management.
The Head Cook/Kitchen Lead will focus on monitoring stock levels,
ensuring items are adequately stocked, and minimizing waste.
They will not be responsible for dealing directly with suppliers or customers but must work closely with management to ensure the kitchen operates smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation & Cooking:
• Prepare and cook all items on the menu, including high-quality beef
burgers, fries, and sides.
• Follow and execute established recipes and cooking techniques to
ensure consistent taste and presentation.
• Monitor portion sizes and food quality to maintain brand standards.
- Kitchen Operations:
• Manage the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth
workflow and timely order fulfillment.
• Oversee kitchen cleanliness and hygiene to meet health and safety
standards.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is well-maintained and operational.
- Inventory & Stock Control:
• Monitor inventory and stock levels, ensuring all necessary items are
available and adequately stocked.
• Work closely with management to communicate inventory needs and
minimize food waste.
• Follow proper stock rotation practices (FIFO) to ensure freshness.
• Assist in tracking ingredient usage and maintaining accurate stock
records.
- Team Leadership & Training:
• Train and mentor future kitchen staff (e.g., commis chefs) as the
business grows.
• Assist in creating a positive kitchen environment that fosters
teamwork and efficiency.
• Menu Execution:
• Execute new ideas and improvements efficiently, while ensuring consistency in quality.

Skills
Requirements:
- Experience:
• Minimum of [5 Years] experience as a cook or kitchen lead, ideally in a fast-casual or quick service restaurant.
• Strong experience in preparing and cooking burgers, fries, and related items.
