Instructor of Human Resources Development – Adjunct

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Adjunct Professor of Human Resources Development to join our Executive Education program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR strategy, talent management, and organizational development. This role is crucial in equipping HR professionals and executives with the skills and knowledge necessary to develop and manage talent effectively, foster organizational growth, and navigate the complexities of modern HR practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development: Design, develop, and continuously refine course materials that cover essential topics in human resources development, including talent management, organizational behavior, HR strategy, leadership development, and employee engagement. The curriculum should be comprehensive, practical, and aligned with the latest trends and best practices in HR.
  • Course Delivery: Lead interactive and dynamic sessions that engage HR professionals and executives, helping them apply HR strategies to real-world scenarios. Utilize a variety of teaching methods, such as case studies, role-playing, group discussions, and simulations, to ensure a rich learning experience that fosters practical application.
  • Strategic Guidance: Provide mentorship and strategic guidance to participants on how to implement effective HR development practices within their organizations. Support participants in developing actionable strategies for talent management, leadership development, and organizational growth.
  • Assessment & Feedback: Develop and implement assessment tools to evaluate participant performance, including assignments, projects, case studies, and presentations. Provide constructive feedback that helps participants refine their skills and effectively apply HR concepts in their professional roles.
  • Industry Engagement: Stay informed of the latest trends, research, and advancements in human resources development, including emerging HR technologies, leadership trends, and workforce management strategies. Continuously integrate this knowledge into the curriculum to keep the course relevant and forward-looking. Engage with HR leaders and industry experts to bring real-world insights into the classroom.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Executive Education team to ensure that the course content aligns with the broader goals of the program and meets the evolving needs of HR professionals and industry leaders. Participate in curriculum reviews, program development, and other collaborative initiatives to enhance the quality and impact of the Executive Education offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field is required. Candidates with additional certifications in HR management, organizational development, or leadership are highly desirable.
  • Professional Experience: Significant experience in human resources management, talent development, organizational behavior, or related fields, with a proven track record of leading successful HR initiatives. Experience in consulting, coaching, or advising senior HR professionals is highly desirable.
  • Teaching Experience: Previous teaching experience at the university level, particularly in executive education or professional development programs, is preferred. Experience in creating and delivering online or hybrid courses is an advantage.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, inspire, and facilitate discussions among a diverse group of HR professionals and executives. Strong leadership abilities, including the capacity to manage group dynamics and foster a collaborative learning environment.
  • Continuous Learning: A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest advancements in human resources development. Active participation in professional organizations, HR networks, or continuing education is encouraged.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
