Under the supervision of carpentry lead, constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, using carpenter hand tools and power tools.
Follows blueprints, sketches, or building plans for information pertaining to type of material required, such as lumber or fiberboard, dimensions of structure and / or fixture to be fabricated. in addition, carpenter tasks include but are not limited to painting light steel framing, installation of gypsum board and finishing, floor tile/vinyl, ceilings, doors, hardware, and trim.
