Supply Chain Management Activities
- Work effectively across the organization to ensure the successful execution of supply chain support on many integrated levels.
- Oversee all distribution Warehouses in ATC.
- Continuously analyze, evaluate, and develop supply chain processes to increase efficiency and add value to supplier and customer relationships.
- Manage day-to-day operations, select and apply appropriate tools and techniques to achieve the overall KPI’s.
- Assess and allocate appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to meet company targets and deadlines.
- Analyze inventory to improve the cycle of Claims, Scrap, Dented, and Returns and ensure the time frames and adequate material flow are achieved.
- Control costs and manage budgets, prepare department annual budgets and project budgets when required.
- Prepare and plan the yearly stock count across all warehouses and showrooms in ATC.
- Analyze and verify Purchase Orders in coordination with relevant business units and assign proper shipping routes to guarantee cost efficiency and profitability.
- Define performance metrics for measurement or evaluation of supply chain factors such as product cost, landing costs, profitability, and delivery service levels.
- Participate in the coordination of new product launches/showroom openings or any relevant event to ensure orderly and timely transitions of product/material.
- Select solutions to improve tracking and reporting of materials or products distribution for wholesale and retail, storage, or inventory to update management and suppliers.
- Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflow, cycle times, positions, responsibilities, or system flows.
- Provide accurate reports (delivery /returns/expenses/inventory) and support to internal and external contacts when required.
- Manage inventory levels in order to maximize targeted service level objectives, optimize asset utilization, and minimize inventory investment.
People Management
- Prepare the Supply Chain annual manpower plan and coordinate with the HR & Administration department on all recruiting activities for the Division.
- Conduct annual performance appraisals of the Department Managers within the Supply Chain.
- Recommend salary adjustments, rewards, and promotions based on the employees’ performance.
- Carry out disciplinary meetings whenever deemed necessary.
- Ensure the training needs of employees are identified and recommend relevant training initiatives that will assist in building a highly professional and knowledgeable workforce.
Continuous Improvement
- Investigate, manage inputs, and recommend action to be taken when there are weaknesses in internal controls or compliance issues with set policies and procedures.
Reports
- Prepare and submit reports to the Direct Manager pertaining to the Supply chain Division operations, and budget activity, including the identification of potential problems and recommendations for corrective actions, forecast trends, and make recommendations accordingly.
- Generate reports or financial information as needed by the top management or the Finance Department.
