The core purpose of the role will be responsible for, support, implementation, upgrade, configuration and/or extension of existing IT-Infrastructure (OS, Mail Server, Hardware-Servers & PC, Network, Web Server etc.)
Responsible for Hands-on Technical configuration and support
- Lead role in IT support
- Maintain Virus scanners, spam control, firewall
- Introduce new automation, research new solution and cost-effective implementation
- Maintaining routers, switches, Printers for day-to-day operations
- IBM Servers & OS System administration.
- Network/internet and related hardware configuration and maintenance
- SAN/ NetApp storage maintenance and configuration
- Installation, upgrade, management & Maintenance of:
- Microsoft 365 Services (Azure AD / Email / Teams etc.)
- VMware Administration
- Servers, SAN & NAS administration
- Domain Servers Administration
- Spam filter Administration & Monitoring - Proof Point
- Antivirus Server Administration -Bit Defender
- Firewall Administration - Fortinet
- SSL Implementation & Renewals
- Oracle Apex Cloud Administration
- Backup Servers Administration
- Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity plans, Conduct DR Drills
- Outlook Signature Management Administration
- Maintain Network & Infrastructure, VLAN
- Draft & Maintain IT Policies & Procedures
- Support various IT Audits
- Manage Backups and tape library
- Plan for upgrades, improvements, and expansions on existing infrastructure
- Propose solution for all IT infrastructure requirements and improvements.
- Necessary documentations
- Overall IT End user support – Across JTC, QA, KSA
- Evaluate new products and services and adapt to the latest technology
- Network Connectivity for Internet, Data, Voice & Fax from ISP
- Manage CCTV surveillance system in all locations
- Manage IT maintenance contracts and software license renewal
- Avaya IP Phone Server Administration
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in computers/Equivalent certification
5 – 7 years of hand-on experience with similar job role
Expert Knowledge of Latest Operating Systems, Windows, Exchange, active directory, network & routing, trouble shooting skills
