Responsibilities: 

• Identify and diagnose the root causes of electrical or mechanical malfunctions in operational equipment.
• Utilize tools such as Multi meters, Clamp Meters, Tone Testers, and Meggers for effective troubleshooting.
• Execute a predetermined schedule of preventive maintenance on all assigned equipment.
• Conduct corrective maintenance to address equipment failures and malfunctions promptly.
• Perform electrical maintenance/repair tasks, installation of fixtures, switches, receptacles, and wiring.
• Specialize in power distribution LT Panels, wiring, and Low Voltage (Telecommunication lines).
• Read and interpret drawings to troubleshoot controls effectively.
• Modify controls as necessary to enhance equipment performance and efficiency.
• Inspect equipment for operating deficiencies and make routine adjustments where necessary.
• Check and test Motors, Pumps, and wiring, demonstrating proficiency in DOL & Star Delta Starters controls.
• Follow all proper operational procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
• Secure tools, parts, and equipment as necessary for efficient and safe operations.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Document all modifications and adjustments made to the equipment.
• Conduct weekly tests of generators and evaluate their performance in case of emergencies.
• Sound knowledge of electrical systems and controls, Familiarity and experience with controls are preferred.
• Proficiency in using tools such as Multi meters, Clamp Meters, Tone Testers, and Meggers.
• Work collaboratively with other maintenance team members.
• Perform any related duties as needed or assigned to ensure overall operational efficiency.

Skills

Educational Qualifications & Work Experience

• Degree/Diploma in electrical maintenance, industrial electronics, or a related field.
• Certifications in electrical systems, industrial maintenance, or related fields may be advantageous.
• At least 5 Years of Industrial Maintenance Electrician preferably in the GCC
