• Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
• Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and farm staff, to ensure effective project execution.
• Collaboration: Work closely with farm management to align engineering projects with the farm's strategic objectives, ensuring that all projects support operational and sustainability goals. Able to communicate coherently with foreign companies regarding any machinery or designs.
• Problem-Solving: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex engineering issues that arise during project implementation, applying innovative solutions to enhance farm efficiency and productivity.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all engineering projects comply with industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols, maintaining a safe working environment.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or efficiency.
• Reporting and Documentation: Provide regular reports on project progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior management, ensuring transparent communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate the effectiveness of completed projects, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to optimize future project outcomes.
• Scrap Sale: Find innovative ways to reuse old metal or steel structures on the farm. Plan any demolitions or scrap sales with optimal sales prices.

Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager Engineer, preferably in the agricultural or dairy farming industry.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
