We are currently seeking a skilled Django Backend Developer to join our team in Kuwait. As a Django Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend of our web applications. You will work closely with our frontend developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Django framework and backend development best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize the backend of the platform using Django.
- Design and implement APIs for various features of the platform.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Perform thorough testing and validation of code using Postman and other testing tools.
- Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of the application.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a high standard of engineering excellence.
Preferred Candidates:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Django backend development
- Strong understanding of Django framework and MVC architecture
- Experience with database management systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Proficient in Git version control system
- Knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
