Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the storage, distribution, and inventory management operations for our Food & Beverage company in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient utilization of space and resources, maintain high standards of inventory accuracy, and manage a team of warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and distributing products.
• Develop and implement efficient warehouse procedures and policies.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy in inventory management and control.
• Ensure compliance with Kuwaiti regulations and company policies regarding health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
• Coordinate with other departments such as purchasing, logistics, and sales to ensure smooth flow of goods.
• Monitor warehouse performance metrics and generate reports for management review.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse operations.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and suppliers.

Skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, preferably in the Food & Beverage industry.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse key performance indicators (KPIs) and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage a diverse team and foster a positive work environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of Kuwaiti regulations and standards related to warehouse operations.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPIM) or Logistics.
• Experience with implementing warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Understanding of food safety regulations and practices.
