Finance Manager

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with a proven track record of success in managing financial operations. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. They will also play a key role in strategic planning and decision-making, providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management. This is a critical role within the organization, requiring exceptional analytical and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  2. Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  3. Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts, and present findings to senior management.
  4. Identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements, and develop and implement strategies to achieve financial goals.
  5. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  6. Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other external financial stakeholders.
  7. Ensure timely and accurate completion of all financial transactions and reporting requirements.
  8. Maintain a strong internal control environment and implement appropriate financial controls and processes.
  9. Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, providing coaching and guidance as needed.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations, and ensure compliance.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  2. Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role.
  3. Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Advanced proficiency in financial analysis software and Microsoft Excel.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
  7. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
  9. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
