We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor and Pricing Engineer to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the cost and contract management process for construction projects. They will work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed within budget and in accordance with contractual requirements. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Preparing and reviewing cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for construction projects.
2. Conducting cost analysis and value engineering studies to identify cost-saving opportunities.
3. Evaluating and negotiating contract terms and conditions with subcontractors and suppliers.
4. Monitoring project progress and costs, and providing regular reports to project stakeholders.
5. Managing change orders and variations to ensure that they are properly documented and communicated to all parties involved.
6. Performing risk analysis and developing contingency plans to mitigate potential cost overruns.
7. Preparing and submitting claims for additional work and cost adjustments.
8. Collaborating with project teams to develop and implement cost control measures.
9. Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and local regulations.
10. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of project costs and documentation.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying and pricing engineering for construction projects.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry standards.
4. Proficient in using quantity surveying software and tools.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
