Our company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to join our team in Kuwait. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing products and materials for our organization. You will work closely with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. The ideal candidate for this position has strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a deep understanding of the Kuwaiti market.

Responsibilities:

  1. Research and identify potential suppliers and vendors in the Kuwaiti market.
  2. Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers and vendors.
  3. Analyze market trends and pricing data to make informed purchasing decisions.
  4. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  5. Collaborate with internal departments to determine product and material needs.
  6. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  7. Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers regarding quality, pricing, or delivery.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new products.
  9. Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities and cost savings.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding purchasing and procurement.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Prior experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role.
  2. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  4. Proficient in using purchasing and inventory management software.
  5. Knowledge of Kuwaiti market trends and suppliers.
  6. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  10. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
