Senior Specialist, Market Research

  • Responsibility for supporting the execution of assigned research studies including on-going tracking studies like Customer Satisfaction, Campaign Evaluation, Brand Health tracking, Segmentation and Mystery shopping studies.

  • Ensure strict quality control measures for all the projects. Perform Quality checking for research studies (CSR Voice, CSR Data, Ad Tracking, Brand Tracking, Mystery Shopping and Ad hoc Research).   

  • Conduct editing, attending call backs at vendor premises, making outbound calls for internal call backs, attending of Arabic & English briefing and pilot’s / mock interviews, attending focus groups, maintaining/checking weekly status report for fieldwork, translation, data entry and review of Arabic questionnaire.   

  • Help in raising the RFP and completing technical evaluation of the proposals received and suggest the best suited vendor. Co-ordinate the Purchase request/Purchase Order issue

  • Assist in developing and translating the research instruments including questionnaires/Discussion guides.

  • Help in tracking payables and reviewing invoices ensuring timely payment and rectifying discrepancies. Tracking of research invoices and payments against budget.

  • Maintain good relationship with external vendors and user departments.

  • Support to competition tracking / dealer visits, media monitoring and invoice/payment tracking for research and report procurements.

  • Track and maintain up to date information of competition offers & promotions via different channels of Ooredoo and competition (branches, dealers, sub dealers, exhibitions & fair, call centre, website and media).

  • Assist maintaining up to date information on different areas including key competition activities, products/promotions in the market, Kuwait demographics information, Macroeconomic parameters.

  • Contribute in generation of daily alerts, weekly monthly market summary reports on competition campaigns, advertisements and packages.

  • Ensure that all competition tracking related reports are archived in easily retrievable way in agreed formats.

  • Help liaise with P&L, user departments and telecom report providers for procurement of reports ensuring purchase process compliance.

  • Proactively take responsibility for self-improvement by staying well-informed of developments, knowledge and innovations in relevant field of expertise.

  • Contribute to the Research Team plans through attendance of regular team meetings, the preparation of a weekly status report and attendance at team events.

  • Other duties as directed by Research Manager and other superiors.
