Job Specification:
- The ideal candidate should be an accomplished musician with experience of teaching in an education setting to join our team at MCE.
- Should play at least one instrument with a high level of proficiency with a preference for piano.
- Preference given to those with an undergraduate degree or a postgraduate degree or certificate in music performance or music education would be acceptable.
- Ability to teach in more than one Key Stage an advantage.
- Fluent English essential.
- Knowledge of the UK music curriculum an advantage but experience of other music curriculum an advantage.
- Ability to deliver schemes of work and develop schemes of work as part of the team.
- Willingness to take advantage of CPD opportunities and take an active part in PRD as per the school policy.
- Should be willing to undertake safeguarding training and support the pastoral system for the benefit of the students.
- Willingness to support out of school music events if required.
