• Be aware of the latest KOC- HSSEMS procedures.
• Liaise with the Supervising Engineer for scheduling and execution of the works.
• Shall ensure that site works comply with Company safety standards.
• Shall be responsible for inspection of all works specified in different appendices.
• Be capable of group communication, coordination with all concerned people, and preparing safety reports.
• Liaise with the supervising engineer to ensure satisfactory handling of the works.
• Evaluate and recommend control measures to prevent accidents.
•  Monitor the work activities and advise the contract manager and other staff in implementing all KOC HSSE MS requirements during work. Prepare Daily Inspection 
• Report, Near Miss Report, and Incident Report and provide HSE training to all contractor staff and 
• workers.
• Provide input for Monthly HSE performance report.

Skills

• Bachelor Degree in Science or Diploma in Engineering from a recognized and  reputed university (see Notes 1 & 2), with minimum 5 years’ experience as HSE personnel in the relevant field. OR Successfully passed High School with an IOSH or NEBOSH Certification from a recognized and reputable Institute, with minimum 10 years’ experience, including 7 years’ as HSE  personnel in the relevant field. Shall have valid certification such as NEBOSH/IOSH/Certified Diploma in HSE/ASP.
• Must have successfully completed one or more certified HSE course(s) in any category of training in General Industrial Safety, Construction Safety, Environmental Management, Industrial Hygiene, ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor, NEBOSH, IOSH, ASSE Certificate in Global Safety Management or equivalent courses.
• Must have completed gas test training (theory and practical) from a KPC approved third-party.
• Shall have attended one or more HSE courses in any category of training in General Industrial 
• Safety, Construction Safety, etc.
• Shall be subject to interview/trade test by the Company’s Asset HSE Team.
• Shall have a Kuwaiti driving License.
• Experience in gas leakage treatment works preferably.
• Must have knowledge of GIS preferably.
