Set up and operate thermoforming machines to produce high-quality polypropylene (PP) products such as cans, dishes, and containers, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate plastic thermoforming equipment according to production specifications
- Load plastic sheets into machine and monitor forming cycles
- Adjust machine settings including temperature, pressure, and cycle time
- Monitor quality of formed products and make adjustments as needed
- Perform mould changes and equipment adjustments for production line changes
- Inspect finished products for defects and quality compliance
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on thermoforming equipment
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Maintain clean working area and inventory of materials
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years of experience in thermoforming, plastic molding, or related manufacturing
- Ability to read work instructions and production specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting
- Willingness to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials manually
