Key Responsibilities: Perform welding and fabrication work on stainless steel structures, pipes, sheets, and components. Read and understand fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and measurements. Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, cleaning, beveling, and aligning before welding. Perform TIG/GTAW, MIG/GMAW, and ARC/SMAW welding as required. Weld different stainless steel grades while maintaining proper weld quality. Carry out grinding, polishing, and finishing of welded surfaces. Inspect welds for defects such as cracks, porosity, undercut, and incomplete fusion. Follow approved welding procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Technical Skills : Strong hands-on experience in stainless steel TIG welding. Knowledge of TIG, MIG, and ARC welding processes. Experience welding SS 304, SS 316, and other stainless steel grades. Ability to weld different thicknesses and positions such as 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G. Knowledge of welding current, voltage, gas flow, polarity, tungsten selection, and filler rods. Ability to perform proper fit-up, tack welding, alignment, and joint preparation. Knowledge of argon shielding gas and stainless steel welding techniques. Ability to use grinders, cutting tools, welding machines, and measuring instruments. Knowledge of weld finishing and stainless steel surface polishing is an advantage.

Desired Candidate Profile

Candidate Requirements: Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience as a Stainless Steel Welder. ITI/Trade Certificate in Welding or relevant qualification preferred. Strong practical experience in SS fabrication and welding. Ability to read basic fabrication drawings and welding symbols. Good knowledge of welding safety and PPE requirements. Good attention to detail and weld quality. Physically fit and able to work in workshop/site environments.
