Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct monitoring and assessments related to occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Assist in the installation, inspection, adjustment, maintenance, and readiness of safety equipment and systems.
  • Recommend and support measures to control mechanical and workplace hazards, including guarding, personal protective equipment (PPE), isolation, and other preventive measures.
  • Prepare inspection equipment, measuring instruments, records, PPE, and other required materials and ensure they are properly maintained and ready for use.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections, periodic inspections, field surveys, and emergency inspections, document findings, and submit reports to the direct supervisor.
  • Assist in preparing for and conducting investigations into workplace accidents, injuries, and incidents.
  • Monitor the implementation of occupational safety procedures and preventive measures across work sites.
  • Participate in employee safety awareness programs and provide guidance on safety instructions and procedures.
  • Develop and implement occupational health, safety, and industrial safety procedures.
  • Train employees on workplace safety and industrial safety procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and applicable laws and standards.
  • Inspect work areas daily, identify and isolate hazardous areas, and support corrective actions to eliminate risks where possible.
  • Identify, monitor, and assess different types of workplace hazards and recommend appropriate control measures.
  • Prepare daily safety reports for the assigned area and submit them to the Safety Shift Supervisor.
  • Support and train new employees on safety requirements and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Educational Qualifications:
  • Specialized Diploma in HSE (Health, Safety, & Environment) / Public Health Sciences, plus specialized training certification in ISO 45001 at minimum.
  • OR High School Diploma combined with specialized professional training certificates in Occupational Health and Safety (such as ISO 45001, OSHA, HACCP, and IRCA Certified Lead Auditor).
  • Work Experience:
  • Diploma Holders: Fresh Graduates (No prior experience required).
  • High School Holders: 3 to 5 years of experience in HSE management, including at least 2 years in the food industry or government/state-owned corporations.
