Skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in music education or a related field (minimum requirement)
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in an elementary school setting
• Strong knowledge of music theory, instruments, vocal techniques, and general musicianship appropriate for young learners
• Ability to design engaging lesson plans aligned with the Common Core standards
• Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students
• Effective communication skills for working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students
