Full-Time Faculty Chemistry 2 Academic Year Only candidates unaccompanied by dependents are eligible.

AIU is seeking dynamic, student-centered Chemistry faculty to join our School of Arts & Sciences. This is a full-time, on-ground role for individuals excited to teach abroad, contribute to a growing institution, and bring their expertise to a global student body.

What You ll Do

• Teach a range of Chemistry courses (mainly Organic Chemistry and Organic chemistry labs)
• Deliver engaging instruction with real-world relevance and active learning
• Supervise laboratory instruction, with emphasis on lab safety, chemical handling, and waste management
• Contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and academic advising
• Engage in departmental service and institutional initiatives
• Participate in research or scholarly activities aligned with your area of expertise

Desired Candidate Profile

PhD in Chemistry or a related field. Minimum 3 years of university-level teaching experience (preferred) Strong command of English and effective classroom communication Familiarity with tools such as ChemDraw, AMBER, DFTB+, Quantum Espresso is a plus Experience teaching in classroom, hybrid, and online environments Cultural adaptability and willingness to work with a diverse student population Commitment to mentoring, student success, and academic excellence Experience supporting English language learners and first-generation students is valued
