Job description
The Procurement & Stores Engineer is responsible for managing procurement activities, supplier relationships, logistics coordination, inventory control, and warehouse operations. The role ensures the timely availability of materials, cost-effective procurement, accurate inventory records, and efficient warehouse management to support company projects and operations.

• Strong knowledge of Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Inventory Management principles.
• Ability to analyze technical specifications, BOQs, drawings, and material requirements.
• Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills.
• Experience in supplier evaluation, sourcing, and contract administration.
• Knowledge of international and local purchasing procedures.
• Understanding of shipping, customs clearance, freight forwarding, and landed cost calculations.
• Ability to manage supplier accounts, statements, and procurement-related financial commitments.
• Strong inventory control and warehouse management skills.
• Knowledge of stock replenishment planning, inventory forecasting, and material management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including reporting, analysis, and data management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with Projects, Finance, Stores, Operations, and Suppliers.
• Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and contracting industry procurement practices is preferred.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic is an advantage.
