Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel and Spa offers easy access to Kuwait’s Central Business District, airport and major attractions. The beachfront resort features 316 rooms and suites, 80 residential suites and 12 villas, seven restaurants, cafés and lounges, a Talise Spa, 200-metre private beach, two swimming pools and a children’s play area. Extensive conference and banqueting facilities are available, including the Badriah ballroom.


About the Job:


An opportunity has arisen for a Spa Manager to join the Spa at Jumeirah Messilah Beach, Kuwait. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:


  • Spa Operations & Team Management – Oversee daily operations, provide guidance, encourage teamwork, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for smooth functioning.
  • Training & Development – Develop and implement the Department Training Plan, conduct hands-on training, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Financial & Marketing Management – Prepare and monitor the department budget, implement marketing initiatives, and develop up-selling strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Guest Experience & Competitive Analysis – Monitor guest feedback, analyze competitor services, and introduce innovative spa experiences, treatments, and products.
  • Maintenance & Inventory Control – Coordinate with Engineering for maintenance, oversee spa equipment inventory as per audit standards, and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Compliance & Collaboration – Ensure adherence to company policies, health and safety regulations, and support interdepartmental collaborations for promotions and guest experiences.

About you:


  • An internationally recognized qualifications in the Spa Industry, or equivalent field, and have a minimum of 2 years leadership experience in a 5-star luxury Spa environment.
  • Should be computer literate with good working knowledge of computer applications such a MS Office. Be well-organized, process and result oriented.
  • Work in a multicultural environment.
  • It is essential to have strong command of the English language, both spoken and written.
  • Have knowledge and experience with integrated wellness approaches and working models, and strong market and competitiveness awareness, and the ability to plan, execute and monitor all required operational and training activities for a large team.
