Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and check transformer tender drawings based on electrical inputs
- Assist electrical design team in preparing BOQ, weight estimation, etc.
- Prepare and review customer drawings/layouts post work order
- Perform load calculations and mechanical design of transformers
- Conduct stress analysis (pressure & vacuum tests)
- Work on design and drafting using Autodesk 2D & 3D tools
- Use software like Autodesk Inventor for modeling and analysis
- Handle transformer designs up to 132kV class / 50MVA
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of transformer mechanical design software
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD & Autodesk Inventor
- Understanding of international design standards
