Roles & Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
Ensure the laboratory’s quality management system (QMS) complies with ISO/IEC 17025
requirements, maintaining accuracy, reliability, and integrity of testing and calibration results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain QMS in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025.
• Monitor compliance with documented procedures and policies.
• Maintain and update quality manual and related documentation.
• Plan and conduct internal audits to verify compliance.
• Identify non-conformities and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure proper control of all quality-related documents.
• Coordinate staff training on ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
• Verify calibration and maintenance schedules for all instruments.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor quality indicators and suggest improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
• Experience in laboratory quality assurance.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Performance Indicators:
• Successful internal/external audits.
• Timely closure of non-conformities.
• Compliance with calibration and maintenance schedules.
• Positive customer feedback and zero major non-conformities during accreditation audits.
Reporting Line:
Reports to: Laboratory Manager / Quality Manager
