Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Pick-up and Delivery: Responsible for the punctual and professional collection and delivery of all guest laundry and dry-cleaning items.
  • Marking and Recording: Count and verify all items collected against the laundry list provided by the guest. Ensure guest names, room numbers, and item counts are accurately recorded to avoid discrepancies.
  • Item Inspection: Thoroughly check garments for any existing damage, stains, or items left in pockets (e.g., jewelry, cash) and report these to a supervisor immediately before processing.
  • Adherence to Brand Standards: Ensure all are strictly followed during the pick-up and delivery process.
  • Guest Request Fulfillment: Confirm that specific instructions such as folding trousers, light starch, or folding shirts are perfectly adhered to.
  • Administrative Support: Accurately record guest and staff laundry charges and assist with tracking staff uniforms in a timely manner.
  • Operational Assistance: Carry out general valet services as needed, including the delivery of fresh linen and assisting with inventories.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Attributes

  • Experience: Typically requires at least 2 years of experience in a similar capacity within a luxury hotel environment.
  • Communication Skills: Must have a good command of English (reading, writing, and oral proficiency) to handle guest queries professionally.
  • Professionalism: Must be well-presented and maintain high standards of Grooming &Hygiene at all times.
  • Key Traits: High attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and a "guest-focused" mindset are essential for this high-touch role.
