Job Purpose

To deliver an exceptional customer shopping experience by assisting customers with fashion selections, promoting products, achieving sales targets, and maintaining high visual merchandising and store presentation standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a professional, friendly, and engaging manner.
  • Understand customer needs and provide appropriate fashion advice, styling recommendations, and product information.
  • Promote and sell apparel, footwear, accessories, and related fashion products to achieve individual and store sales targets.
  • Build positive customer relationships and encourage repeat business through excellent service.
  • Stay informed about current fashion trends, promotions, product features, and seasonal collections.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, exchanges, and returns professionally and in accordance with company policies.
  • Support visual merchandising activities, including arranging displays, replenishing stock, and maintaining store presentation standards.
  • Ensure shelves, racks, fitting rooms, and display areas remain clean, organized, and appealing at all times.
  • Assist in receiving deliveries, stock replenishment, tagging, and inventory counts.
  • Monitor stock availability and report fast-moving, slow-moving, or low-stock items to management.
  • Support store opening and closing activities as assigned.
  • Adhere to company policies, grooming standards, health and safety requirements, and loss prevention procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a positive and productive store environment. 


Skills

Educational and Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in fashion, apparel, footwear, or lifestyle brands.


Knowledge & Skills

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service and sales skills.
  • Passion for fashion and awareness of current trends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Basic numeracy and cash handling skills.
  • Ability to use POS systems and retail software.
  • Team-oriented with a positive and energetic attitude.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
