Job description
About the Role
We are looking for a highly capable E-commerce Merchandising Executive to support the commercial growth of our online fashion jewelry business.
This role is ideal for someone who is strong in product performance analysis, merchandising, Excel-based reporting, and e-commerce decision-making. The person in this role will help us understand which products are performing well, which products should be pushed through marketing, which items need restocking, and what improvements are needed in website navigation and product discovery.
This is not a pure catalog-uploading role, a pure digital marketing role, or a traditional offline retail merchandising role. We are looking for someone who can work with data, think commercially, and turn insights into actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse product performance across SKUs, categories, collections, and price points
- Identify bestsellers, slow movers, high-potential products, and weak-performing items
- Recommend which products should be prioritised for paid marketing, promotions, and visibility
- Support restock planning by identifying products with strong sell-through and stock potential
- Maintain and update weekly and monthly merchandising and performance reports in Excel
- Review website merchandising and customer journey, including category structure, collection layout, sorting, filtering, and product discovery
- Suggest practical improvements to website navigation and product presentation to improve conversion
- Work closely with the founder to support commercial decisions using data and product insights
- Coordinate with marketing and website teams to ensure the right products are being featured and promoted
- Help maintain a clear view of product performance trends and actionable opportunities
What We Are Looking For
We are specifically looking for someone who has experience in e-commerce product analysis and merchandising, and who is comfortable working in a fast-moving online retail environment.
The ideal candidate should have:
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in e-commerce merchandising, online retail, trading, category analysis, or product performance roles
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with reports, product data, and performance tracking
- Good understanding of how e-commerce businesses grow through better product selection, visibility, and merchandising
- Ability to interpret sales data and translate it into practical recommendations
- Strong attention to detail and commercial thinking
- Good understanding of website merchandising, product discovery, filters, collections, and customer browsing behaviour
- Ability to work independently and organise information clearly
- Strong communication skills and a practical, solution-oriented mindset
Preferred Background
Candidates with experience in one or more of the following will be strongly preferred:
- Fashion e-commerce
- Jewelry or accessories
- Beauty or lifestyle brands
- Multi-SKU online retail businesses
- Marketplace or D2C e-commerce environments
Important Note
This role is best suited for candidates who have worked in hands-on e-commerce merchandising or product analysis roles.
It is not the right fit for candidates whose experience is mainly in:
- offline store merchandising only
- general administration
- customer service only
- pure graphic design
- pure social media management
- pure digital ads buying without product merchandising exposure
Why Join Us
You will work closely with the founder and play an important role in shaping product decisions, website merchandising, and commercial growth. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys combining data, product thinking, and e-commerce execution in a growing brand.
