Roles & Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Cloud Computing
- Highly skilled in designing and managing Data Centers and cloud hosting services (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud).
- Management of virtual servers and virtualization technologies (VMware / Hyper-V).
- Developing and implementing Backup & Disaster Recovery plans.
Networking & Information Security
- Designing and engineering complex networks, and managing Firewalls and VPNs.
- Strong experience (ideally with certified credentials) in Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto systems.
- Leading the Cyber Security framework by establishing security policies, conducting risk assessments, and executing immediate responses to any technical breaches.
- Ensuring security compliance with the company s regulatory and legal requirements.
Applications & Technical Integration
- Managing and implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, with a preference for cloud-based platforms (Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, Odoo).
- Professional expertise in integration mechanisms between various systems (both Cloud and On-premise) to ensure seamless data flow.
IT Operations & Technical Support
- Full management of the IT Support Structure.
- Oversight of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Helpdesk management to guarantee business continuity.
Strategic Priorities: Recognizing the critical importance of Data Security, Low Latency system responsiveness, and Business Continuity processes within an uninterrupted financial environment.
Desired Candidate Profile
Years of Experience: A minimum of 10 to 15 years of professional experience in the Information Technology field.
Leadership Experience: At least 5 years spent in a leadership role (e.g., Department Manager, Division Head, or IT Director).
Sector: Deep, prior experience working within financial institutions, investment companies, or banks.
Specialized Knowledge:
- Extensive hands-on experience with Online Trading Platforms.
- Thorough familiarity with Portfolio Management Systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of laws and regulations issued by regulatory authorities (such as CMA), as well as compliance systems, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Know Your Customer (KYC) policies.
Academic Degree: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems (MIS).
Additional Qualifications (Competitive Advantage):
- Master s degree in IT Management or a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Required Professional Certifications:
- Information Security: CISSP
- Service Management: ITIL
- Project Management: PMP and/or PgMP
- Technical Certifications: Cisco, Microsoft, AWS
Leadership & Managerial Skills:
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop the IT sector in a way that serves the company s investment and administrative vision.
- Budget Management: High efficiency in managing the department s financial budget, balancing Capital Expenditures (CAPEX) and Operating Expenditures (OPEX).
- Vendor Management: Professional handling of global service providers (such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Oracle, Microsoft, AVAYA, etc.).
- Team Leadership: Ability to manage a multi-disciplinary team (networks, security, technical support, developers) with a unified team spirit.
- Large-Scale Project Management: Leading complex digital transformation projects from initial planning through to execution.
