Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled Chief Accountant to join our team immediately in Kuwait. The ideal candidate should have solid accounting experience, strong knowledge of banking transactions and financial reporting, and the ability to manage daily accounting operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the full accounting cycle.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and monthly closing activities.
• Handle bank reconciliations and maintain relationships with banks.
• Monitor cash flow, payments, transfers, and banking facilities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Prepare VAT and tax-related reports when required.
• Supervise and support the accounting team.

Skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant.
• Strong experience dealing with banks and banking transactions.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Currently residing in Kuwait.
• Available to join immediately.
