Position Overview

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to support the promotion, growth, and lifecycle management of pharmaceutical products. This role bridges medical, sales, and market access functions to ensure compliant, effective, and patient‑focused marketing strategies.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing

  • Develop and implement brand strategies aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead product launch planning and execution for new pharmaceutical products.
  • Manage product lifecycle strategies to maximize market performance and competitiveness.

Market & Customer Insights

  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and HCP (Healthcare Professional) behavior to inform decisions.
  • Translate insights into actionable marketing plans.

Campaign Development

  • Design and execute promotional campaigns across multiple channels (field force, digital, conferences, materials).
  • Collaborate with medical affairs to ensure scientific accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee creation of promotional materials aligned with local and global guidelines.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Market Access, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Support sales force effectiveness through training, tools, and messaging.
  • Coordinate with global or regional marketing teams (if applicable).

Budget & Performance Management

  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure optimal ROI.
  • Track KPIs and campaign effectiveness; adjust strategies as needed.
  • Ensure full compliance with pharmaceutical marketing codes and regulations.

Skills

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field
  • MBA or postgraduate degree is an advantage

Experience

  • 5–8 years of marketing experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Proven experience in brand management, product launches, or therapeutic area marketing
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., local health authority guidelines, industry codes)
