Roles & Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and standards in line with client requirements and local regulations.

  • Conduct risk assessments (RA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and hazard identification (HAZID) for all work activities.

  • Ensure strict compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems for high-risk operations.

  • Perform regular site inspections, audits, and compliance checks to identify unsafe conditions and behaviors.

  • Monitor contractor and subcontractor HSE performance and ensure adherence to project requirements.

  • Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe acts, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Conduct HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for workforce awareness.

  • Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment across all site activities.

  • Maintain accurate HSE documentation, reports, and records as per project standards.

  • Support implementation of emergency response plans and participate in drills.

  • Coordinate with project teams, supervisors, and client representatives on all HSE matters.

  • Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement in HSE performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Bachelor's of Technology / BSc in Engineering.

  • NEBOSH / IOSH certification (mandatory/preferred).

  • Min 6–8 years of experience in the field of Oil & Gas / Oil Refineries / Petrochemical Plants, / EPC projects.

  • Experience with ADNOC / KNPC projects preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of HSE standards, PTW systems, and risk management.

  • Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
