Job Details

• Assist in procuring adequate insurance coverage as required by the business, providing insights on claims and potential premium impacts. • Manage the insurance portfolio from data collection and maintenance perspectives regarding insurance placement, renewal, and analysis. • Interact with stakeholders to obtain key data and present it professionally to insurance providers/brokers in coordination with the Head of Insurance. • Prepare and coordinate risk-related information from various businesses for risk assessments. • Engage with insurance suppliers and brokers to determine coverage and terms, assisting the Head of Insurance in negotiating premiums. • Review policy wordings to ensure alignment with agreed terms during the placement/renewal processes. • Maintain and analyze claims data, assisting the Head of Insurance in securing the best possible terms for all insurance types. • Oversee the administration of insurance policy requirements, including periodical declarations and data processing. • Prepare insurance claims by coordinating with various departments, aiding the Head of Insurance in negotiations with insurers. • Provide analytical support to various company functions. • Assist in preparing the annual insurance premium budget in collaboration with the Head of Insurance. • Develop a methodology for allocating premiums to stakeholders for all insurance types. • Act as a liaison with stakeholders during the preparation and settlement of claims. • Support business units in recovering claims from third parties related to shipments and property damage. • Train insurance officers and prepare them to handle responsibilities independently. • Design and organize training sessions for stakeholders to enhance awareness of insurance processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Commerce, or Management. • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of managerial experience in insurance and risk management. • ACII (Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute London) • FIII (Fellow of Insurance Institute of India) • MIRM (Master of Institute of Risk Management, UK) • Associate in Risk Management (ARM) • Well-versed in all aspects of insurance/risk management. • Strong financial and analytical skills necessary for understanding insurance matters. • Thorough knowledge of MS Office and similar applications. • Ability to work independently.
